I became a nanny because I absolutely love spending time with children and watching them develop. I have been a full-time nanny for over six years. I have experience caring for newborns, toddlers, elementary children, as well as junior high schoolers. I was responsible for getting children up in the morning, bathing and changing them, preparing meals for them, driving them to school and activities, creating educational activities to help them learn, helping with homework, supervising play dates, and putting them to bed. I handle emergencies by staying calm and acting quickly, while comforting the children. I am a very honest, dependable, and dedicated person. I always treat the children as if they are my own. In addition, I have a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology, with a minor in psychology. I have taken several child development courses, child psychology courses, pediatric feeding and swallowing, and a language and literacy course. I am very passionate with child development, and am confident my qualifications would be a valuable asset to any family.
