I have 6 years experience as an elementary schoolteacher, 5 years as a reading development teacher, director of my after school arts program, and 13 years as a nanny. Children are wonderful. We can’t say enough good things about Amy! She nannied our daughter from 8-15 months, before we started daycare (was always the plan, before we hired her). Amy is incredibly responsive and reliable. This was our first child and we were home with her for the first 8 months, so I was a bit nervous to have someone care for her when my husband and I returned to work. Amy followed all instructions I had laid out, and always gave me updates throughout the day. She was so kind, warm and loving with our daughter, who truly loved being with her. Their days were spent reading, listening to music and singing, which I strongly believe is what helped our daughter develop such strong speech at an early age. We’ve moved out of state, but I would hire Amy in a heartbeat for our second child, if I could!
