About Ami

Hi, my name is Ami! I have a Bachelor's degree from St. John's University in both Childhood Education and Social Studies. I have four years of teaching experience, including special education teaching, in both public and private schools. My teaching experience includes teaching in preschool, first, second, third, and seventh grade classrooms, tutoring, virtual learning, and homework help for kindergarten through ninth grade, and experience virtually teaching English as a second language to students overseas (Teaching English as a Second Language certified). My specialities are in history, social studies, English language arts, literature, and grammar. As a former middle school language arts teacher, I also have extensive experience preparing students for the NY State ELA exam.
