About Amirah

Hi there! I'm Amirah, an experienced and reliable babysitter with over a year of experience caring for children (ages 5 months - 8 years). Right now, I'm studying to be a teacher because I'm super passionate about working with children and helping them explore their creativity. I have an Associates in Elementary Education and plan on getting my bachelors in the next couple of years. I'm free from Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday at the specific times listed below with some flexibility here and there. My journey with childcare started when I was 18 through child development courses and volunteer work at Herndon Barstow Elementary. When I'm not studying or working, I love doing artsy stuff like painting and crocheting. My main goal is to make sure your kids are safe and having fun. I'll also make sure to keep your house neat and tidy while I'm there. I'm good at communicating, prioritizing safety, and coming up with fun and educational activities for your children.
