About Amira

Bringing joy and learning to children's lives is my passion. As an English teacher and high school educator with six years of experience, I've spent the last eight years babysitting. I enjoy fostering a love for reading and learning in children through fun and routines. My graduate degree, Early Child Development coursework, and Certified Teacher status have given me a solid foundation for providing quality care to children aged 6-18. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for one to two children at a time and enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup, regular texts, or phone calls, always following your preferred method. I am also trained in CPR.
