About Amira

Hi, I'm Amira! I'm an artist and art history student at NYU who'd love to share all kinds of fun crafts with your kiddos. I've been babysitting/teaching in some form or another for years now and I just genuinely love being around children. I think childhood is such an important time to have fun, learn new things, and be creative-- I'd love to help your kids along that journey. I'm responsible, organized, proactive, and always prioritize safety above all else. I think a kind, but consistent approach to boundaries and expectations helps kids succeed, and always tailor my approach based on the parents' requests. I'd be happy to include art or educational lessons, time in nature, at the park, museums, or anything in between into your child's routine! I've previously been CPR certified, and am happy to update that based on your preferences. I can provide references upon request, just ask!
