About Amie

Hi! My name is Amie and I am currently a middle school science teacher at a local middle school. I also have experience working at a vet and teaching swim lessons. I love helping kids become more confident in themselves through play and exploration. I'm an aunt to 10, having experience with many different age groups. I am also first aid and CPR certified, with safety always being my number one priority. I grew up in Northern Illinois, but have lived in the St. Louis area since attending college down here. I'm now looking to connect with families and begin babysitting again since I have become more comfortable with my teaching schedule. I have open availability through July, and will be available during non-school hours once school begins. I like working with kids because they remind me to have fun and enjoy small moments. I started babysitting and teaching swim lessons when I was 15. I have taught swim lessons for 6 years. In August I will be beginning my 2nd year as a teacher.
