I worked for the YMCA aftercare program of an elementary school gaining lots of valuable experience with children ages 4-12, as well as babysitting for family since I was younger. I also have experience as a teacher's assistant in a kindergarten class. I want to continue working with children while earning my degree to gain experience as well as earn some extra money while in school! I'm very passionate about ensuring the children I care for are allowed to feel their feelings, while helping them learn how to regulate those feelings in heathy ways.
