About Amia

Hi, my name is Amia. I am a Senior Biology major at Howard University, studying to be a Child Psychologist. I have experience as a camp counselor, gymnastics instructor, swim instructor, party coordinator, and babysitter to children from infant to teenager. I also have my child abuse and FBI clearances, CPR certification, and First Aid Training for children/infants. I am a friendly, positive, creative, energetic, professional person who has always loved working with children and would love to provide your child(ren) with a fun, inspiring, and safe atmosphere to grow, play, and learn in. I have years of personal and professional experience with infant and child care. I am able to aid in cognitive development and setting schedules. I love pets and have experience with multiples (twins and triplets). I have also taken five years of Spanish and actively speak it and teach it at home.
