Hi there! My name is Amellia , and I am moving to Lexington in Mid-September of 2024 and I can't wait to chat with you about your family's care needs! I have worked in-home for multiple families over the last five years giving children individualized and carefully planned care, consisting of scheduled activities, arts and crafts projects, outdoor learning opportunities, and more. I have been living in Atlanta for the last three years enjoying the lively musical theatre scene and local photography opportunities, but due to familial needs, I am moving back to Lexington Kentucky to be closer to home. I have been working for the same sweet family for a year and a half, and sadly, due to relocation, will be looking for a new position come September. I am adept at helping babies reach their milestones including forming sleep schedules, practicing safe sleep, baby lead weaning or bottle feeding, crawling, walking, etc.! I am so excited to potentially begin working with your family!

We absolutely love Amellia! We originally hired Amellia to care for our 8-month-old daughter and she has been with us for 1.5 years now. We are heartbroken to be losing her as she is moving out of state. Our daughter loves her and asks when she will see her again when she isn't around. She treats her nanny job like a professional job and not just a side gig. She is very organized coming prepared with activities, crafts, plans for outings, and keeping record of everything through the day. Safety is always a top priority and we are completely comfortable with Amellia taking our child out to classes, activities, etc. She communicates very well to let us know where they are going and how everything went and we love the pictures of our child, loving life with her that she shares regularly. Dad works from home and we are completely comfortable with her being in our home even when we are home. She brings joy and love to our home for our child and often goes above and beyond pitching in on household needs even beyond what we asked for.
