I have been a professional career nanny for 25 years. I discovered that I loved working with children at a young age as the second oldest of eight siblings. I have lived in San Francisco since early childhood. I have earned my Associate Teacher Certificate from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1999 and in 2003, graduated with a BA from Sonoma State University's Hutchins School of Liberal Studies in a pre-teaching track that focused on Multiculturalism and Diversity. I spent 17 years working with children of all ages before giving birth to my son, in 2012. (Fortunately, we live below the in-law's home, so I have great coverage for my childcare needs!) A year later, I became a Certified Birth Doula. When my son entered preschool, I volunteered as a parent teacher. The school quickly hired me and I was able to complete the requirements needed for my California Master Teacher permit. I then continued as a nanny. I am looking for a part time position that is from 25-35 hours a week.

Amy was a nanny for our children for several years. She essentially became a part of our family, providing loving and attentive care for our young children as we worked. She would take them on wonderful local adventures to the playground, zoo, you name it and we would come home to happy and calm children. She just has a natural way with children. Our kids are older now and we look back at out time with Amy and feel so fortunate that we had found her. Any family would be lucky to have her as a nanny.
