Hi! I am a Christian widowed mom of 5 children ages ranging 13-25 My youngest is still at home. I have had the privilege of serving and loving many families over the decades. Including having an in home child care for 8 years. I offer child care in my home in Unionville. 
My hours are somewhat flexible. Non smoker, clean driving record, I am an open book. A true believer that people are either a perfect fit or no fit at all. Please reach out if you feel we may work well with each other.

Amelia is the greatest! She is so kind and attentive. She’s patient and able to adapt to every child’s unique personality. My son learned so much during our time with Amelia. Of course he had a blast as well, there were never any issues. Amelia is also transparent and detailed which is really important to me when choosing a caregiver. She has been nothing but professional and caring. We are so grateful for our time together!

Amelia kept my boy from 3 months old to 4yrs old, I truly believe it was meant to be. She loved my son just like he was her own and she became part of our family. I would recommend her a million times over and 5 stars could never be enough! I could go on and on about how wonderful she is!

Amelia, is a life saver! When my nanny just did not show up one day, Amelia took my kids in and we had the best experience ever. My kids felt in love with her on the first day! I had a nanny for 3 months and my kids were never attached to her the way they were to Amelia after the first day. This says a lot of Amelia and her dedication and unconditional love to all children. You think that having a nanny is the best thing for your family but in reality its often not the case. Having my kids (3 year old and a baby of 6 months) at Amelia's House was like a vacation for them, they were looking forward to go to her house and never wanted to leave. I had never felt guilty of dropping them off as I knew they get the best care and in my case way better than a nanny care I had. Amelia is set up for kids to have fun all day! Kids have a lot to do at her house, inside and outside, they go to the playground or to see horses that are kept a walking distance from her home. My kids never had a dull day! Most important, I always felt that Amelia goes above and beyond to care for children, give them opportunity to develop and stay active. If not for the location of her home (way too far for us to commute on a regular basis), we would still be with Amelia. I highly recommend  her!!!

To start off, Amelia has been amazing to our family. She is dependable, she is dedicated and she is very nurturing. My mind is at ease when I'm at work and can't be with my babies. That is priceless and definitely hard to find. Not only does she care for my children, she helps them learn and challenges their little minds throughout the day. Amelia has definitely been an answer to prayer and you will not be disappointed if you decide to choose her.

 Amelia is a wonderful caregiver! Her own home is in order and cleanly. She has wonderful relationships with her children and her husband, so her household is very welcoming. She has plenty of games, toys, art, outdoor toys, and other things to keep the children engaged and occupied. She attends to their physical needs promptly, whether it be a drink of water or a boo-boo that needs a Band-Aid. Amelia is kind, thoughtful, patient, intelligent, a great mother, and makes my kids love to be in her company! I recommend her with the highest appreciation for her care giving skills. 

Amelia is very great with children of all ages. She has five children of her own. Amelia has always had a fond love for children & has been caring for children for over 20 years. She is always very engaged & hands on with the children she cares for. Amelia also provides a very safe & healthy environment. I have known Amelia since we were 15 years old & I trust her fully with the care of my children. 

Amelia has been my friend for the last six years.  She has a very special way with little children.  She will not only provide them with their daily cares and need they may have but will also provide them with plenty of play reading in educational activities.  Her environment is very welcoming and nurturing to children. My children have loved to be there. My little girl would say "I want to go to Miss Amelia's preschool". 

Amelia is a wonderful caregiver. She took care of my little one with the care and love of a family member. Amelia went above and beyond for our family each and every day. She was dependable, kind, and caring. She took the time to write logs of each day including when and what kind of diaper was changed. I never had to wonder how long of a nap he took, or how much he ate. She carefully logged it all in a notebook for me. I never worried when my little one was in her care. 

Amelia has been caring for children since she was a teenager and she has four children of her own as well as a stepson. She has been a babysitter and a nanny off and on for over twenty years for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. She loves children, she knows them well, and she helps them learn. I would trust her with my own children completely.

I have had Amelia take care of my son A. on numerous occasions.  He absolutely adores her!!! I couldn't ask for a better care giver for my child.  Highly recommended!!!
