About Amelia

Hello, Bonjour & Buenos Dias! I am a 23-year-old graduate of Niagara University currently located in Wicker Park area. My BFA is in Theatre Performance and I received my minor in Dance. The arts have been crucial to my education and development as a person and allows me to find different ways to teach and play with younger audiences! A lot of my childcare experience with toddlers/infants have been with those related to me (ie. baby cousins/2nd cousins - I come from a family with 7 aunts and 5 uncles so there's almost never not a baby that needs to be cared for haha). I have more professional experiences with young adults; two summers with the National Student Leadership Conference as a Teaching Advisor for their Acting Intensive Program (ages 15-17). I love working with children of all ages and truly believe they have something so special to give the world. I believe it is part of my job to help encourage them to share their gifts and celebrate all they have to offer!
