About Amelia

I am in my fifth year at the same daycare center! At this center I have been a lead teacher in all classrooms (8 weeks to 10 years old), I have also taught 2 years of preschool and am now the assistant director! In this role I have gained valuable knowledge in childcare and child development! Before that I was a neighborhood babysitter throughout high school. I like working with kids because I find genuine joy when I'm around kids and I am fascinated in finding ways to support development. I am a recent college graduate and was a triple major in psychology, communication and public health! I started working with kids when I was 13, I worked in my church and around my neighborhood. In my spare time, I love to read, work on home improvement projects and other crafts! I'd love to learn more about your families needs!
