About Amelia

My personality is passionate, nurturing, and driven, and my skills include creativity, patience and flexibility. I grew up surrounded by a big family with lots of cousins and cousins' children, so I've been around babies and kids for most of my life. I started babysitting for my cousins and neighbors regularly when I was 16. I like working with kids because I really enjoy seeing their unique perspectives, witnessing the creativity and joy of childhood, and being able to show them an example of kindness. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, thrifting, playing guitar and cooking for the people I love. I am currently working toward my nursing degree! My personal goal in that role is to bring light to people in some of the darkest times of their lives. I find so much joy in caring for others and making them feel loved. I have experience providing direct patient care in a hospital setting, as well as my Basic Life Saving certification.
