About Amelia

I have significant experience working with kids of all ages, starting when I was 14 years old. My experiences include swim instructor at the YMCA, tutor in all subjects, and summer camp counselor at Galileo. Currently, I work part time as a patient care assistant at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, caring for sick children and their families. I am a registered EMT and am certified in first aid and CPR. I have a B. S in biomedical engineering from Tufts University. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. In my spare time, I like to spend time outdoors hiking, skiing, and running. Additionally I like to read, bake, and do crafts. I am a very hands on caregiver and love to do activities with the kids to support their learning and development. I am excited to get to know you and your family!
