About Amelia

I've volunteered in preschools and in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms helping students with reading, writing and math. This work has been one-on-one and working with up to 10 children at a time. I've also taught at theater camps, working with children ages 4-12. I am a musician and can incorporate music and movement into our time if that's something you and your kids are interested in. Because of the pandemic I am looking for a consistent position with 1-3 families who know and trust each other so we can all keep ourselves and our community safe. I envision having some structured curriculum (designed by the kids' school or by their family) and some supervised open play time.
