About Ameilia

Hi! I'm Ameilia, a college student with over five years of childcare experience caring for children from infants to preteens. I especially enjoy working with toddlers and elementary-aged children. I'm a creative, patient, and attentive caregiver who loves reading, arts and crafts, developmental play, and outdoor activities. I'm also experienced with bedtime routines and overnight care, including comforting children who wake up during the night. My priority is creating a safe, positive environment where children feel supported and encouraged. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, helping with homework, caring for pets, and light housekeeping related to childcare. I'm CPR certified and I can speak some Spanish and Mandarin. I'm open to part-time, full-time, temporary, occasional, evening, and overnight positions throughout Chicago and nearby suburbs. I look forward to connecting with your family!
