About Amber

Hello! I am a Durham, NC resident with a genuine love of dogs and cats of all kinds! My own animals have always been treated as part of the family, so I know how important your pets are to you! I am responsible, quiet, clean, good at communicating, and following directions. I am a writer and work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. I'm looking for occasional house or pet sitting jobs around the Triangle and am available for nearby stop-in dog walks/yard breaks/feedings, cat feedings, or plant watering. I like working with animals because they are a genuine source of joy and comfort. I enjoy both taking walks and playing fetch with dogs as well as snuggling up to relax with a couch potato dog or lap cat. I started working with animals when I was a child. I have always had cats and dogs of my own and petsit for neighbors, then and now! In my spare time, I like to write, read, walk/run/hike, paddle board, enjoy good food, watch TV and spend time with my family and animals.
