About Amber

I am an experienced child care provider looking for a part-time nanny position. I have six months of experience teaching at a private preschool. Of my experience I have most enjoyed, reading with children, planning and doing crafts, and playing with them outside. While attending Michigan State University, I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a second major in Human Development and Family Studies as well as a minor in women and gender studies. I have worked with autistic children as well as children with behavioral problems. The ages of children that I have cared for range from 6 months old to 10 years old. I have 2 years of experience working for a non-profit organization called Ele's Place, which provides group therapy for grieving children, ages 4-18. I have also provided child care and lab assistance at the Child Emotions Lab and the twin studies lab at Michigan State University. In addition, I interned at the MSU Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic.
