About Amber

With nine years of experience working with children from infancy through elementary school, I bring a unique blend of education and hands-on childcare expertise. I began my career as a youth surf instructor in Huntington Beach, teaching water safety and sports to children ages 5-14. This experience led me to work at Brightstar Learning Center, where I primarily specialized in infant and toddler care with a 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio. There, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of baby care, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining strict safety protocols. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCSB and am currently pursuing a Master's in Elementary Education. My most recent experience includes a year of full-time nannying for a1-year-old, further developing my one-on-one childcare skills. Working with children is my lifelong passion, and I'm committed to providing engaging, nurturing care while ensuring safety always comes first.
