About Amber

Hello I am Amber! I am an experienced nanny and developmental support caregiver with a focus on working with autistic and neurodivergent children. My approach is relationship-based, child-led, and neuroaffirming, prioritizing connection, regulation, sensory needs, communication, and autonomy. I have hands-on experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, and varying support needs. I focus on understanding behavior as communication, building trust, following the child's lead, and supporting regulation, transitions, routines, play, communication, and independence in everyday life. I'm currently working toward my Registered Behavior Technician certification and continuing my education in neuroaffirming autism and child-led support. I am generally available weekdays before 2 p.m. and after 6 PM, with additional availability on the weekend depending on the day.
