About Amber

Fully Vaccinated My name is Amber and I am an elementary school teacher! I am licensed in general and special education and have been teaching for 11 years. I also serve as a model teacher at my school where I coach teachers and provide research based best practices to support their growth as educators. I also develop and write math curriculum for my school and support the teachers across Western Queens. I have been tutoring privately since 2018 helping students reach their academic goals. Over the last 7 years every student in grades 3-8 that I have worked with has scored either a level 3 or 4 on the New York State Exams in ELA and Math, and I can do the same for your child. I aim to build relationships with students and their families, and bring a fresh approach to learning that is personalized to every students' needs.
