About Amber

Amber has been a real blessing to our family. She has worked for us almost one year and provided personal care for my 102 year old mother until she passed. Mom tried to remain independent but depended on a walker to get around and required constant observation for her own safety, especially those times when she would not ask for help and attempt to walk on her own. In her advanced age, Mom suffered from dementia and was legally blind. Amber helped Mom with toileting, showering, and guiding Mom’s walker as she navigated around the house. Amber also prepared Mom’s meals, did her laundry, and performed some light cleaning, and was a thoughtful companion to Mom, keeping her engaged in conversation. Amber’s collective experience working with patients suffering from old age, dementia, Alzheimer’s in a variety of settings including nursing homes and in home care made Amber the perfect match for Mom. Amber was always available when we needed her, working both day and night shifts so my wife and I could get some sleep.
