About Amber

I am currently a graduate student at JMU studying applied psychological research. With my current degree and past education I have mastered skills in math/statistics, reading and writing, biology/science, and psychology. I have tutored children between the ages of 6-16 in the subjects of math, science, and reading. Additionally, while in college I have been a teachers assistant in two courses (biopsychology and abnormal psychology) which provided me experience in creating and facilitating review sessions, creating study guides, and teaching information to students who learn in different ways. I truly enjoy teaching others and seeing the light bulb flash when they have solved a problem. Providing children with the confidence to learn and develop their skills is an amazing reward throughout this process. I hope to help in any way I can!
