About Ambereen

As someone who has attended both undergraduate (graduated Cum Laude) and graduate school for Biology, I understand that hard work and dedication pay off. I have realized my love of teaching through my recent experience with teaching Biology to undergraduate students. My philosophy as a tutor is simple. I let the students realize their own potential. I strongly believe that one on one interaction with students brings out the best in not only the students, but also the teacher. During my teaching experience, I noticed that students who took advantage of office hours to talk to me in an one-on-one setting improved their grades by at least one letter grade. Additionally, I believe that concepts that we truly understand and not just memorize stay with us for the rest of our lives, which should be the goal of education. I can tutor students in basic science concepts along with reading comprehension and writing, which are truly important for any student interested in science. Along with science, I am very passionate about history and English and can help with those topics as well. I look forward to hearing from you and help you achieve success in your education!
