About Amber

Hello, my name is Amber and I worked as an aide in healthcare for 10 years. I'm very grateful for the time I've spent being a caregiver and am now a mum to a happy little girl that was born in January of this year. My time in healthcare was spent primarily in long term settings; nursing homes with memory care units and group homes. I've had the privilege of providing hospice care and I've worked with people of all ages, needs, and functioning levels, including those with ATBIs, special needs, Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. I find the most essential and rewarding aspect of my job to be building trusting relationships and learning the best route of individualized care to promote comfort and quality of life. I'd be happy to find a position that is compatible with me caring for my little one alongside the client, but this isn't a must as we are blessed with a strong family support system that will allow for me to return to work as reliably as ever.
