About Amber

I believe as a teacher I must make a lifetime commitment to the well-being of children, their education, as well as, continuing my own education. Becoming an excellent teacher is a lifelong process that includes learning new strategies, learning from colleagues, learning about new philosophies, and learning from the students and their parents. I have the ability to set the tone for a student's educational career, which is so important, because children are the most valuable resource we have for a bright promising future. As an educator, it is my responsibility to help the students meet their fullest potential in a secure, nurturing, idea sharing, and stimulating environment. This will include developing lessons around the interests of my students to stimulate my students' passion for learning. As a result of this, the students in my classroom will experience individual work, projects, and hands-on learning to create an active learning environment.
