About Amber

Hi! My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional educator in the state of Indiana, taught Kindergarten for the last 5 years, and have stepped out of the classroom so I can put my teacher side to use in a way that's in more of a caregiver setting. I have very much enjoyed working with upwards of 21 4-7-year-olds in the classroom, but now I'd like to focus bringing all my skills and experience to a single family and in a more personable environment! I've even babysat for some of my students and their siblings! Before my work as a teacher, I was a stay at home mom to both my daughters from birth through to over 11 years. I am child, adult and infant CPR/aed/first aid certified. I also have experience working with children with autism, adhd, and other developmental or neurological conditions.
