About Amber

I have always strived to help children and families. My work experience includes working as a nanny, Therapeutic Nanny in a tribal community, working as a Family Services Director for a program that serves both children and adults with Developmental Disabilities, and other volunteer/internship experience with children and families. I have two B. A.'s in Psychology and Sociology, and also have pursued three years towards a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am married with no children; however, I do have four fur babies (two dogs and two cats). I love to be in the outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, fishing, or foraging (for both wild edibles and mushrooms). Other hobbies include attending cultural events and working on art projects. I am very outgoing, and love to use humor as a redirection technique. I would like to help other families make their lives a little easier, as well as help other children grow, learn, and of course laugh and have fun.
