About Amaya

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, and patient. I like working with animals because it's so wonderful to see each pet's personality, interests, likes and dislikes. I enjoy giving them affection, a lap to lay on, and a comforting presence. I'm looking for a job that is flexible since I am in nursing school. I am also looking to work with a kind family or pet owner that communicates well about their pet and is excited to work with me! I started working with animals when I was in high school, on and off when my extended family would leave for vacations. In my spare time, I like to play rugby, read, and crochet. One thing you should know about me is I'm all about communication and understanding, I can best support your pet when we are on the same page! My skills include understanding animal body language, staying calm in chaotic situations, and making sure your pets needs are always taken care of.
