About Amaya

As a young child and still to this day, I've had a huge place in my heart for animals. At the age of 4 I was gifted my own dog, I like to say did everything together and I knew from that moment that I would always need a dog by my side. Funny enough, I now own two, incredibly cute orange kitties, Rory and Gigi. Though I thought a dog would always be my first pet as an adult in my own home, I knew with my routine and chaotic schedule changes, it would feel wrong to keep a dog cooped up in my east side apartment! For the time being, I couldn't be happier being a cat mom and getting to learn more about their silly behaviors! I often dog sit for family, friends and anything in between. I've gotten most gigs through word of mouth and it's always a treat meeting new friends As my main pet sitting experience has been majority dogs and cats, I grew up with all kinds of unique pets and am happy to take on a new experience if prompted!
