About Amarissa

Hello! Thank you for your consideration! My background is in social work and childcare. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Work with a specialization in elder care. I also have two years of experience in a childcare facility, where I led infant, preschool, and school-age classrooms. I completed three childcare certification courses through the State of Wisconsin and am certified in CPR and First Aid. Additionally, I worked for Green Bay Public Schools, leading after-school and summer school programs. I provided academic support, taught summer-school classes, and led reguler field trips. During college, I nannied for two families over the summers, provided respite care, and privately tutored phonics. I have also served in multiple children's ministries, helping develop curriculum. I am passionate about caring for children and providing child- and parent-centered care. Currently, I provide in-home care for a family on Mondays and Wednesdays.
