About Amaris

Hi! My name is Amaris, and I've been babysitting for about 9 years, primarily as an unpaid babysitter for family and friends. I've had the opportunity to care for children ranging from 6 months to 7 years old, and I've always found so much joy in spending time with kids and being someone they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for around. I especially enjoy working with children in this age range because I'm able to connect with them easily and meet them where they are. I love creating a fun and welcoming environment where they can be themselves, feel heard, and have fun while still having structure and boundaries. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are going on little adventures and exploring the world around us, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing games, and, of course, being silly and goofy together! I love finding activities that match each child's interests and personality and making everyday moments fun and memorable.
