About Amanda

Hello! I am 25 years old and I'm looking for a full time nanny job. I am currently finishing my schooling for my BA in early child development, and I have already received my AA! I have had almost 3 years experience working as a preschool teacher at a high quality school as well as working in child care in my early years. I love kids so much and I've always known I wanted to work with them. Most teachers fear the parents the most but I think when working with children a solid relationship founded on trust and communication can help the child out so much more! I'm taking a step back from preschool teacher with the hopes of being able to focus on school a bit more as I tended to take work home with me way too much! Haha My hope as a nanny is to help the child/children learn and grow each day and to aid the parents with their daily routine so everyone can feel a bit more relaxed and in tune with each other!!
