About Amanda

I am transitioning from my career as a teacher to a full time nanny position. I have been teaching Elementary School in the Lower Merion School District for the past five years as well as nannying in the summers! I'd describe my personality as calm, flexible and passionate! I like working with kids because I love watching them grow and how all of the little things in life mean so much to children! Working with kids helps slow down life and appreciate the little things :) I'm looking for a job that is full time and a positive and friendly environment. I bring a lot of joy to the spaces I am a part of and am looking for a family that has lots of laughs and enjoyment in their life! In my spare time, I like to cook! I love finding new recipes and cooking for friends and family. I also love reading and doing anything outside in the sun! My greatest skills include creating engaging/creative activities, patience and positivity!
