About Amanda

I'm so blessed to have been able to help care for my grandmother, who had vascular dementia. She was truly my best friend. I assisted her with food prep and making sure she had well rounded meals throughout the day. I helped her with her bathroom and bathing needs. I did house cleaning. I assisted her with getting dressed for the day and dressed for bedtime. I made sure she took her daily medications. Above all, I made sure she was safe, well taken care of, and happy. She loved getting out of the house. We frequently took trips to her favorite stores, restaurants, scenic drives, and to visit family and friends. When we were at home, she loved to listen to music, dance, sing, play games, and look at photo albums. Additionally, she loved to tell stories of her past. Often, we'd sit out on her back deck and chat for hours, while enjoying the nice weather and sounds of nature. She adored all forms of nature and took pride in her gardening. I know how crucial quality senior care is!
