About Amanda

Hi! I'm very excited that you've found my profile and are interested in learning more about me! I've been working with children since 2003, throughout childcare facilities and independently nannying. I am extremely devoted to designing engaging lessons and helping children learn in a way that makes the most sense to them. During the summer, I build out a whole set of homeschooling curriculum for my son and up to 2 other children for social enrichment opportunities (I need to be sure I can safely fit all children into my car in case of emergencies) and to help them prepare for the following school year. I am currently not CPR and First-Aid Certified but I can absolutely obtain these prior to starting work. Additionally, I will provide you with references from past families and from the teachers I've worked and volunteered for.
