About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a warm, patient educator with over 10 years of English teaching experience. I hold a bachelor's in cultural anthropology, two master's degrees in conflict resolution and related fields, and a TEFL certification. I tutor learners of all ages in ESL, reading, English, writing, social sciences, sociology, and business English. I also support conversational English, IELTS preparation, and college-level writing. My background includes Montessori preschool education, international school substitute teaching, college tutoring, and working with adult learners from diverse backgrounds. As an educator and mom of three, I tailor lessons to each student's goals, interests, and pace.
