About Amanda

I have experience with children from infant age to teenage. More specifically, 1-week-old to 16 years old. At 10 years old I started babysitting and working in the church infant/toddler room every Sunday. Since then I have been a nanny (ages 2 months-16 years old), a regular babysitter, and even a camp counselor for two summers (5th grade girls). I worked at a NAEYC accredited preschool for 7 years where I was an assistant teacher for 4-5-year-olds. I was a substitute teacher through Source for Teachers for about 2 years (kindergarten to 12th grade). I am fully capable of handling multiple children at the same time. I have babysat/nannied anywhere from 1-7 children at the same time. In the classroom, 7-20 children. I have completed 80+ hours of workshops on childcare and development and have also taken 3 child/adolescent psychology courses. I love children and animals. I currently have a full-time job but looking to earn some extra cash.
