About Amanda

Hello, most of my professional career I have focused on supporting people with significant physical and mental needs or people that have special needs. In my personal life I am a painter and love working with my hands on creative projects. Cooking and meal prep has become a fun activity. I love long walks with my dog and a good friend where I can practice plant identification along the way. I enjoy talking about feelings and hearing people express themselves. I've worked extensively with nonverbal individuals and enjoy finding other modes of communication with them. I am comfortable with mobility aids, g-tubes, tracheostomy, Hoyer lifts, diabetes tracking, and assistance with several types of medical tracking devices. Definitely open to learning more to help you with your individual needs!
