About Amanda

From combined personal and professional experience, I have cared for children for 10 years. Currently, I work in a classroom as a para for elementary students with complex medical and educational needs. I love the work I do because it brings me so much joy, purpose, and it aligns with my values- Compassion, integrity, fun, growth, education, and advocacy. What makes me stand out from other caregivers are my high standards for safety, and my commitment to celebrating each individual child's unique personality, needs, and self expression. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and making art. I also love animals and am very interested in anything to do with science- space, rocks, plants, biology, you name it!
