About Amanda

It is impossible to put into words what Amanda has meant to our family over the last two years. If I could keep her forever, I would. Amanda came into our lives when our daughter was just six months old. She couldn't crawl, roll over, or communicate her needs yet, and as a first-time mom, I was navigating so many unknowns. From her very first day, Amanda brought a level of confidence, knowledge, patience, and love that immediately put my mind at ease. She didn't simply become our nanny—she became part of our family and, in so many ways, a second mother to our daughter. I can honestly say that I trust Amanda with my life and, more importantly, with the life of my child. There is no greater compliment I could give. Amanda is, without question, the hardest-working person I have ever met. She takes immense pride in her work and genuinely loves caring for children. Every day she arrived early with a smile, ready to give our daughter her full attention and care. She was always willing to stay late, help on weekends for date nights, or adjust her schedule whenever we needed her. Her flexibility, reliability, and positive attitude are unmatched. She respected every routine and parenting guideline we established while also providing invaluable guidance from her own experience. She helped us through sleep training, transitioning back to bottles, introducing a pacifier, starting solid foods, and navigating so many milestones that felt overwhelming as first-time parents. She never judged—she simply supported, encouraged, and helped us become more confident parents. Amanda's care extends far beyond simply watching a child. She treats every aspect of caring for a family as if it were her own. She washed, folded, and organized all of our daughter's laundry, kept her closet beautifully organized, rotated toys to keep play exciting, prepared healthy meals and snacks, washed all of her dishes, created grocery lists when supplies were running low, picked up our Target orders on her way to work, and even unpacked and organized groceries upon arrival. Whenever we traveled, Amanda packed our daughter's suitcase with incredible attention to detail and, when we returned home, unpacked everything, washed the clothes, and put everything away. These thoughtful acts, many of which were never expected, became just another example of how deeply she cared for our family. Most importantly, Amanda poured her heart into helping our daughter learn and grow. Every morning she got her dressed, brushed her teeth, styled her hair in the cutest hairstyles, and prepared fun breakfasts. Their days were filled with educational activities, crafts, reading, outdoor walks, imaginative play, and constant encouragement. She helped teach our daughter her alphabet, numbers, colors, and so many early learning skills while making every lesson feel like play. As our daughter approached preschool, Amanda even took the initiative to begin potty training so she would be ready for this next chapter. When our daughter was sick, teething, or struggling with eczema, Amanda cared for her with extraordinary patience, compassion, and attentiveness. She treated every difficult day with the same love and dedication as every joyful one. The bond they have built is something incredibly special. Our daughter absolutely adores Amanda, and watching their relationship blossom has been one of the greatest gifts we could have hoped for. Amanda has loved our daughter as if she were her own, and our daughter loves her right back. The only reason Amanda is looking for a new position is because our daughter is starting preschool. This decision has nothing to do with Amanda's performance—in fact, if our circumstances were different, we would keep her with us for many more years without hesitation. Amanda is truly one of a kind. She is trustworthy, dependable, intelligent, organized, nurturing, proactive, incredibly knowledgeable about babies and toddlers, and has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. She consistently goes above and beyond in ways both big and small, often anticipating our family's needs before we even realized them ourselves. Any family fortunate enough to hire Amanda will be gaining far more than a nanny. They will be welcoming someone who will love their child wholeheartedly, care for them with unmatched dedication, and become an irreplaceable part of their family. We will miss Amanda more than words can express, and while I am heartbroken to see this chapter end, I couldn't recommend her more enthusiastically. She is simply the very best, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
