About Amanda

Hello, I'm Amanda! I have dedicated nearly all of my adult and teen years to working with children. My journey began as a camp counselor and swim instructor during my teens. In grad school I worked as a part time nanny. In my adult years, I spent 6 years in the classroom before transitioning to a role as a reading specialist for the past 9 years. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow, and I am committed to creating a supportive and enriching environment for their development. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, have fun, and grow. I myself have two adorable children, ages 7 and 3. Having them with me is completely flexible. I prioritize building strong relationships with both the children and their families, ensuring open communication and trust.
