About Amanda

My paid experience with children began when I was in High School. I nannied full time during my summers and part time during the school year. I worked at a local church daycare during weekly services and as a private nanny for local families. I have experience with children of all ages, ranging from newborn to pre-teens. My more recent childcare experience is personal in nature. I frequently watch the children of family and friends when needed - for anywhere between an hour and a whole weekend. I loved being a nanny when I was younger and am hoping that getting back into the business will work well with my transition to being a part-time student. My favorite areas to explore with children are art and science, perhaps both at the same time (anyone want to do some acrylic paint pouring?!). If your child is creative and loves to learn, we'd be a great fit. In my free time you can find me either playing outside (hiking, biking, etc) or curled up with my dog and a good book at home.
