Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am excited about the opportunity to be your nanny. Previously, I worked as a caretaker at Lifetime Fitness, where I successfully managed groups of up to 15 children ranging from infants to 12 years old. I have a solid background in childcare, having been a teacher for a Saturday Enrichment Class for three years, focusing on arts and crafts for fifth graders. My experience extends to numerous babysitting jobs and participation in a program, demonstrating my commitment to creating positive and nurturing environments for children. I thrive on engaging activities such as baking, board games, video games, and sports, ensuring your children are not only cared for but also entertained. Beyond my passion for childcare, I am known for my responsibility and reliability. On a personal note, I recently graduated with a master's degree in UX Design from UT Austin, reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and creativity.

To Whom It May Concern, I have known Amanda M. since she was in fifth grade. While Amanda is a good friend of my daughter's, I have worked with her in several different capacities. I was the parent adviser to two different organized, extracurricular activities that Amanda was extremely involved with during the past several years. First she singlehandedly started the first Relay for Life Team in Solon organized by a group of young teenagers, but supervised by adults. Second, she started the lacrosse program at Solon High School, and served as its captain which just this year received official team status. Amanda's creativity, organizational skills and warm, caring, and dynamic personality make her a magnet when trying to get kids involved in any kind off activity. Her personal commitment to anything she gets herself involved in goes far beyond what is typically expected, whether it's cupcake decorating, raising funds for a cause which is important to her, or creating the ambiance and activities for a party she is hosting. One of the first things Amanda did when she started babysitting years ago was put together an activity bag of age appropriate things she thought the children would enjoy doing when she was asked to babysit. The kids would look forward to Amanda's arrival to see just what interesting items she brought in her bag. It really wasn't anything extravagant, but through the years that Amanda attended overnight camp, she became very in tune with the needs of kids at various age levels and appropriate items that would capture their interest and full attention. Amanda just understands children and teenagers and I would trust her in my home working with any of my kids. She has an ability to get along with different age levels and has had many difficult challenges in her life that make her an ideal candidate for any kind of job, especially one that uses her creativity, sensitivity, and great sense of humor. If I can be if any additional help in making your final decision to hire Amanda, please don't hesitate to contact me! Sincerely, Jodi E.
