Experience: 10 yrs
I have spent the last 2. 5yrs working as the Head Infant Teacher in a center caring for 4 babies daily. We fed, changed diapers, went on walks, did daily art and hands on learning, as well as teaching them to crawi, walk, get on a good napping schedule, drink from a cup and eat off a plate. Prior to working in the center I nannied for a couple different families helping with house chores and caring for their babies. I have also owned and operated my own daycare business while raising my own 3 children. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and last year l completed my Step 7 Child Development Associate. I truly enjoy working with Infants and young toddlers helping to nurture them and help them to grow into their own little person.
We met Amanda when I was still pregnant. I'd heard that daycare places fill up fast and there are waiting lists a mile long. So I was glad I found out she had an opening coming up 5 months in advance. When I returned to work after my maternity leave, Amanda was so gentle with my daughter. It was as if she was one of her own kids. Amanda is very kind and funny. She makes the kids laugh and they have fun with her. I would use Amanda again if I had another child for her to watch, but this mom is one and done!!!
