About Amanda

I am very aware of the importance of treating each person with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. The loss of independence can be scary, even traumatic, for some. I feel that creating an environment that focuses on what a person is still able (mentally and physically) to do, instead of what they can no longer do themselves, goes a long way in preserving a positive mindset.
