About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as goofy, laid back, and compassionate. I like working with kids because they are so curious and excited about the world which reminds me what's truly important in life. I'm looking for a job that also allows me to care for my son who is under 1 year. I am open to a fixed part time schedule or I can be flexible for date nights or errand runs. I started working with kids when I was 19 years old. I've regularly cared for several nieces and nephews of all ages. I have two step daughters, ages 11 and 8, who are in school full time, as well as having my first child in August 2022. One thing you should know about me is that I am very patient with children of all ages. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I also believe in limiting screen time for children and encouraging creative play.
