About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I have been working with children for nearly 10 years. For the past 5 years, I was the full time child caretaker for a family with 3 children. I started working part time when the oldest was 18 months old, and a year later I transitioned to working full time when the twins were born. I worked closely with the twins as their primary caretaker and I was able to gain invaluable knowledge and experience working with them consistently until they turned 5 years old. My infant experience includes bottle/formula feeding, developmental exercises, general hygiene, wearing babies in wraps/carriers, swaddling, supporting with doctor's appointments, transitioning to solids, managing nap/feeding schedules, support in various sleep training methods, and learning how to play! I feel extremely comfortable with infants and working with families currently deep in the postpartum world. As a certified doula, I am comfortable giving postpartum support as well.
